Just a quick note to say thanks for the hire of the Jayco hawk last week and the return of the bond.
We loved our second caravanning experience and will definitely be back to hire again. We are thinking of three weeks next June/July up to Byron Bay so will have a look at expanda’s in the next couple of weeks.

As first time caravaners we decided to rent from Eastern Caravan Hire. When we picked up the van David answered all our questions and gave tips on how to tow, park etc. We were away for eight weeks and found the van so well equipped we had all the comforts of home – on a smaller scale. We could not fault anything with the whole experience. We would certainly rent from David again.

Tony and I have recently returned from a caravan journey to Uluru, the Flinders Ranges, Clare Valley and Barossa Valley. Our caravan was supplied by Eastern Caravan Hire and we couldn’t have been happier with the van and the attention to detail. We appreciated the assistance we were given in choosing the correct caravan to suit the size of our small SUV. We had no difficulty with the towing, our Forester pulling the van with ease!

We love the convenience of hiring a caravan from a reliable family business. Your vans are always clean and well equipped. Now our family holidays are so simple, easy and straightforward. Why buy, when we can hire a caravan with all the bells and whistles without having to worry about storage, upkeep costs and insurance? Looking forward to many caravan holidays in the future!

We had a great break away and made all the better because we were in a new van! 🙂 As much as we’d like to buy one ourselves for the amount of times per year we use it, it is cheaper for us to hire Eastern Caravan Hire as and when we need it.

We have just come back from a trip to Phillip Island with an Eastern caravan. What a great experience!

We picked up our Swan van which was in immaculate condition and received great instructions on how to use it. The van was equipped with all the gear we needed and very easy to tow and use.

This is the first time I have hired a van and I will definitely do it again. David’s vans are excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

We spent three months travelling around half of Australia and had the time of our lives. It was made all the more special by being able to take our two family greyhounds, Jackie and Beauty. Dave was upfront with us in the beginning saying it wasn’t a problem, as long as the caravan comes back the way it left!

Whenever I had an issue on the road (cause I’m a caravanning novice), Dave was only a phone call away or text message to set my mind at ease and get things back on track.

To top it all of the rental price was great and his friendly personality and service were second to none!

I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending Eastern Caravan Hire!

We hired the 22ft Starcraft and took the three kids to Mallacoota and Merimbula. It was our first time in a caravan – and while the first reverse park (in front of a ‘happy hour’ audience) was a bit nerve racking, all went to plan and we had a terrific time.

We cant speak highly enough of the support and advice offered by David of Eastern Caravan Hire and have already locked in our next booking.

Now that all is nearly back to normal I thought I should write and thank you for providing us with a caravan to use for our holiday.

We hired the Jayco Discovery on your recommendation for 2 months and in that time we travelled almost 15000kms. Leaving Melbourne through to Mildura , Port Augusta then “up the centre” to Katherine then left to Kununurra , Broome down the West Coast to Perth then across the Nullabour to Broken Hill then home. The caravan towed very well and at times you felt it was not there and at the end of the day’s travel it provided a welcome place to “put the feet up” and enjoy the surrounds. Internally the van gave us a surprisingly spacious feel and my wife enjoyed the use and privacy of the ensuite. Considering the distance travelled we had no problems (NOT even a puncture) which indicates that you maintain your vans well.

Would we use your caravan service again? ABSOLUTELY !!!!!!

A (belated) big thank you David for ensuring our first adventure in a caravan was fabulous and ‘mostly’ uneventful!! There was that time I lost the key but you were easily contactable and helped sort it all out with no fuss.

We spent 8 weeks travelling through the centre and East of this enormously huge country with a 4yo and dog in tow. The van was perfect for our trip, handled the distance with ease, was simple to use for a bunch of complete novices and ensured our trip was perfect from the first day till the last.

Our only issue… now we have the bug and want to do it all over again!!

Big thank you to David and Eastern Caravan Hire. Just returned from 8 days on Great Ocean Road and western Victoria. We drove down from Sydney, hired the Hawk camper and towed it easily with our Suzuki Grand Vitara. We were a bit worried, we have seen friends hire vans from other companies and their vans were very ordinary, not so with Eastern Caravan Hire. The Hawk was in top condition, everything worked like new and it towed perfectly. We would recommend Eastern Caravan Hire to anybody, we just wish they had a branch in Sydney so we could hire from them more often.

The communication from Eastern Caravans was great, the pick up and hand over was very thorough and the van was delivered in a very clean condition.
On returning the van the staff were fantastic and very helpful. Overall it was a great experience and the service from Eastern Caravans was first class.
Next time we hire we will come back to you and probably hire a bit larger van.
